Scottish Swimming Learn to Swim Pack

The Scottish Swimming Learn to Swim Pack is designed to support a team of teachers working at the same time. 

The Pack includes the Scottish Swimming Bronze and Silver Stages as well as a Water Safety and Communication new progressive practices incorporating Front Crawl, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly.   

The Pack is divided into the following sections, each with an index card for quick reference and to help you plan your activities.

BRONZE - Becoming Water Confident (3 sets)

This National Standard covers Pre-school / Aqua Fun and Swim Skills 1 - targeted at developing core aquatic skills and water confidence

• Become confident in the water

• Develop basic movement in the water

• Develop skills through a fun and progressive pathway

SILVER - Developing a Safer Swimmer (1 set)

This National Standard covers Swim Skills 2 and Swim Skills 3 - targeted at further developing core skills and traditional stroke technique:

• Develop the four strokes

• Develop a more competent Swimmer

COMMUNICATION (2 sets)

WATER SAFETY (1 set)

The Pack includes:

• 107 A5 SwimPix on double sided cards

• How to use and care for your SwimPix - a waterproof guide

• Colour coded dividers with instructions on how to file your SwimPix

• Colour coded index cards to show what is in each set
• Colour coded instruction cards for Bronze and Silver awards

• Colour reference code on each card for easy identification and filing

• Waterproof box with clip-on lid - easy for storing and filing

• Microfibre cleaning cloth to clean and dry your SwimPix
